Kishan Mangat

Assistant General Counsel at Talbot Underwriting, advising the business on board range of commercial, corporate governance and compliance issues. Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Inclusion and Cultural Awareness Network (iCAN). The first UK-based, industry-wide independent network that supports multicultural inclusion and progression across the insurance sector.

Kishan qualified as a solicitor and worked as a civil litigator for a decade defending high value and complex catastrophic injury claims on behalf of large insurers and corporate self-insured companies. During that time Kishan won the ‘Insurance Lawyer of the Year in 2022’ at the Women in Insurance Awards. Kishan was also named an Insurance Business UK’s ‘Elite Woman in Insurance’ for three consecutive years (2020/2021/2022) and has judged for both the Insurance Business Rising Star Awards and the IBUK Elite Women list.
